Morocco has all the qualities you look for in a modern Showjumper and is one of our top foal picks for this auction.
Sire:
Eden du Rouet is an upcoming young Selle Francais stallion. He is a son of the incredibly successful and influential sire Chacco Blue who has made the most distinct impression on the showjumping world internationally in recent years, siring countless 5* jumpers including the 2021 Olympic Gold Medalist Explosion W.
Ridden by Tony Cadet since June 2018, Eden du Rouet has done very well in sport. He has been reliable, fast, and faultless in 11 classes out of 12 jumped. He easily qualified in Fontainebleau where he was also approved by the Selle Francais Studbook, receiving high scores at the conformation exam.
“A son of Chacco Blue and a grandson of Baloubet du Rouet with whom he shares the same maternal lineage. He was triple clear round in the five year old French Championship and shown his qualities, namely blood, scope and respect”.

Dam Lines:
Morocco’s dam sire is the Selle Francis sire Pezetas Du Rouet. A son of Quidam de Revel and grandson of Jalisco B he has incredible pedigree on both sides. “In his pedigree he combines the genetics of two of the best French maternal origins. His first products have frame, strength and generally a very nice locomotion.”
Cinnamon NZPH’s dam is by the fantastic Cabdula du Tillard (Abdullah x Galoubet A) who won many international victories under Edouard Coupérie’s saddle, including the Grand Prix d’Alençon in 1999. Cabdula was a maternal half-brother to Olympian Viking du Tillard, who was ridden by Hervé Godignon, as well as the great winner Mic Mac du Tillard, while their dam was a maternal half-sister of the Selle Français’ treasure, Jalisco B. From Rome to Dublin, indoors and out, in Grand Prix and speed events, he has more than 150 victories and rankings at the CSI level, and six consecutive years with an ISO above 160, all with the same rider, which is a performance, that is to our knowledge unequalled to date for a French stallion.
