Sire Line:

Candy De Nantuel is an outstanding upcoming stallion owned by the French company GFE. He is a son of Ludiam, out of a Diamant De Semilly mare. He is a talented young competition stallion having much success in the young horses classes, most notably being a finalist at the 7 years old World Championship in Lanaken. He is currently competing at 1.45m with Thomas ROUSSEAU (FRA).

His first offspring are turning three and appeared successfully in sales and stallion shows. Meanwhile, Candy de Nantuel will surely carry on demonstrating his talent. We already know that he transmits elasticity, a super canter and a great jumping quality.”

Dam Line:

Leroy Brown’s dam line features world class bloodlines. His dam Gold Finch NZPH is sire by Orlando – Orlando is a stallion with a lot of scope and superior technique along with a gentle temperament, he is horse for all riders. These traits are passed along to his offspring who have proven themselves as successful sport horses throughout the world.

Orlando sadly passed away last year. He remains one of the stars of the breeding world, and his offspring are very sought-after at auctions. Most of his offspring are of great nature and can be seen in amateur and high level competition.”

His dam’s dam, Vibe Blue NZPH is by Mr Blue, a legacy in sport horse breeding. Mr Blue enjoyed an extremely successful jumping career being a winning Nations Cup and World Cup mount and was also selected for the Atlanta Olympic Games. However his real success began when he was purchased by GFE and began his stud career. His offspring have proven to be remarkable, producing a range of top level show jumper’s and Grand Prix winner; Plot Blue who carried Marcus Ehning to victory in the 2010 World Cup final in Geneva is perhaps the most successful. His breeding legacy is also being continued through his offspring, such as Zirocco Blue VDL who is following in his father’s footsteps as a world class show jumper and sire.

 

NZPH Relations:

Leroy Brown’s dam Gold Finch NZPH has just begun her showjumping career. She is a stunning mare of great type, temperament and quality. A scopey, careful jumper with plenty of ability. She is based with upcoming young rider Isabella Narracci.

Gold Finch is 1/2 sister to Dove NZPH. Dove NZPH is a gorgeous mare who is currently showjumping successfully in New Zealand with Trudi Mitchell and is the dam of the upcoming sire Inverness NZPH.

A basic examination of all seven horses in the NZPH Auction was conducted by Vet Services Hawkes Bay in February 2022.

All horses passed a basic clinical examination and were in good general health. X-rays of the two year old was taken and are available on request.

When a request for x-rays has been received by Equus Auctions it will be passed on to Vet Services Hawkes Bay who will then send the x-rays directly onto the prospective bidders chosen veterinarian. This information is confidential and will only be sent to a qualified veterinarian for examination.

If you wish to conduct a pre-purchase examination you are able to do so at your own expense prior to the auction date.
