Jaguar NZPH is a striking two-year-old.
With superb bloodlines Jaguar is an exciting young mare, she has an athletic build and is a sensitive, alert type. With her breeding (being sire by the World #1 ranking event sire) and build she would be equally at home eventing or showjumping. She also has some very successful siblings being a 3/4 sister to Cadillac NZPH. She is well handled and is the perfect blank canvas to develop into your next sport horse.
Sire:
Contendro I needs no introduction. He is the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 World #1 Eventing Sire and World #25 Jumping Sire! He is also the only sire in the world in the top 20 of the CSO and Eventing rankings, with also some international winners in Dressage.
Contendro I’s sire, the legendary Contender, is one of the world’s leading jumping sires. His notable offspring include the likes of Montender (Marco Kucher), individual European gold medalist 2005; Checkmate (Meredith Michaels Beerbaum), team gold WEG Kentucky 2010; and Carlo (Nick Skelton), individual European bronze medalist 2010. He can also be found in the pedigrees of the top stallions Chellano Z and Balou du Rouet.
Contendro’s first dam, Bravo, is also the dam of the licensed stallions, Caretano Z (by Caretino), 1997 Reserve Bundeschampion, 1999 World Champion of 7-year old show jumpers, and a World Cup Finalist in Gothenburg, Sweden, and of Contendro I’s full brothers Contendro II and Cassito (by Cassiano). She also gave birth to Contendro’s full sister, BB Caretana, ridden by Niklaus Schurtenberger of Switzerland, a highly successful international show jumping mare.

Dam Lines:
Jaguar’s dam Untouched NZPH is by the fantastic Cabdula du Tillard (Abdullah x Galoubet A) who won many international victories under Edouard Coupérie’s saddle, including the Grand Prix d’Alençon in 1999. Cabdula was a maternal half-brother to Olympian Viking du Tillard, who was ridden by Hervé Godignon, as well as the great winner Mic Mac du Tillard, while their dam was a maternal half-sister of the Selle Français’ treasure, Jalisco B.
From Rome to Dublin, indoors and out, in Grand Prix and speed events, he has more than 150 victories and rankings at the CSI level, and six consecutive years with an ISO above 160, all with the same rider, which is a performance, that is to our knowledge unequalled to date for a French stallion.
NZPH Relations:
3/4 sister to Cadillac NZPH (ridden by Samantha Van Lierde). Who in the 2018/19 NZ Showjumping season was the winner of:
- 7YO Championship at the National Young Horse Show

- 7YO Title at the Horse of the Year Show
