Indigo NZPH is an absolutely stunning three-year-old mare.

Extremely eye-catching Indigo has plenty of presence and perfect conformation. She shows absolutely fantastic jumping technique and is a naturally careful jumper with balanced paces. She is well developed for her age and is a strong, sound type.

Indigo has been started under-saddle and has been very well produced with all the basics established, and is ready to embark on her sport horse career. She has a good mouth and is straight forward to ride. She has a good brain and is well-mannered being easy to handle, transport, shoe etc.

Sire:

Up To You is one of the best young stallions of his generation. A son of Olympic jumper Calvaro, he is a modern horse who boasts the quality of canter inherited from his father, and the strength and blood inherited from his dam line. There are high hopes for this young stallion to follow in his family’s footsteps.

His first offspring were 5 years old in 2019. Whether in free jumping auctions or ridden in competition, they show that UP TO YOU signs his production by passing his style, respect, flexibility and ease. He is getting ready to enter in the high level.”

Dam Lines:

Indigo’s dam Dior NZPH is one the first generations of NZPH horses, out of our one of our foundation French imported mares Mariette. Mariette is sired by Olympic and World Championship show jumper Quat’sous. He competed repeatedly in Nation Cups, CSIO and was a recurring member of the French Showjumping team. He is a well-confirmed stud who transmits his distinction, athleticism, three beautiful gaits, and showjumping skill to his offspring. Quat’Sous has a very good mind that he is renown for passing onto the next generation. After producing a dozen of major winners indexed 150 or more by the Selle Francais studbook, he now stands out as a remarkable producer of dams.

Dior NZPH is sired by French Buffet a thoroughbred stallion who has been used to refine modern sport horses. A 1.40m jumper himself, French Buffet has sired top level show jumpers, eventers and dressage horses. This successful stallion is incredibly useful at lending his blood and athleticism to warmblood pedigrees to create versatile sport horses.

A basic examination of all 12 horses in the NZPH Auction was conducted by Vet Services Hawkes Bay on the 6th January, 2021.

All 12 horses passed a basic clinical examination and were in good general health. X-rays of the two & three year olds were taken, this included front feet, front fetlocks, hind fetlocks, and hocks, which are available on request.

When a request for x-rays has been received by Equus Auctions it will be passed on to Vet Services Hawkes Bay who will then send the x-rays directly onto the prospective bidders chosen veterinarian. This information is confidential and will only be sent to a qualified veterinarian for examination.

Please note this does not constitute a pre-purchase examination and New Zealand Performance Horses, Equus Auctions and Vet Services Hawkes Bay take no legal responsibility. If you wish to conduct a pre-purchase examination you are able to do so at your own expense from the 18th January 2021 – 14th February 2021. The sale of the horse is unconditional from the close of the online auction and pre-purchase examinations cannot be done retrospectively.
