Stunning gelding by a son of Diarado out of a thoroughbred mare. A beautiful horse that has been professionally started under saddle and ready to thrive as a showjumping or eventing prospect.

Sire Daminos is one of the most exciting young stallions to have been imported into New Zealand in recent years, he has performed exceptionally in the young horse classes claiming a six year old and seven year old championship title. He is a son of Diarado who is a leading sire of young horses in Europe with his progeny consistently featured in the winners circle at all levels. Grandsire is the legendary Diamant de Semilly, one of the most influential jumping sires of recent years.

Dam Casual Affair adds thoroughbred blood to the this lovely pedigree, making for a versatile horse that could also suit the eventing discipline.

Sire’s Sire: Diarado

Brilliant in his type, superior in his appearance and extremely precious bloodlines: Diarado enchanted the experts at the Holstein stallion approvals. A winning stallion from top to toe, combined with fantastic movements and a jet black coat. His abilities seem endless – effortless, quick and superior with an ideal bascule.

He combines the big names of the Holstein breeding through his dam which is by the outstanding sire Corrado out of a Contender-Lord-Ramiro dam. His sire Diamant de Semilly, ridden by Eric Levallois was a member of the French gold winning team at the world championships in Jerez and won the team silver medal at the European championships the following year.

Bred for performance, Diarado has been consistently named “best sire of young horses” at the French championships in Fontaineblau. He can look upon an entire armada of international top-class horses and by now belongs to the most sought after sires in France. Grandsire Le Tot de Semilly was also internationally successful and is considered to be one of the best show jumping producers in France. Diarado – a stallion with the potential to establish a new stallion-dynasty in modern show jumping breeding.
