Iwi NZPH is a very athletic type with a fantastic attitude.

A lovely horse with great paces Iwi is an exciting young horse. He show plenty of scope over a fence with nice technique in front and behind. Iwi is blood, athletic and brave, he would absolutely thrive in show jumping or eventing. Iwi has been started under-saddle and has been very well produced. He goes nicely on the flat with a good mouth and is a bold, honest jumper. He is a very uncomplicated ride with a great attitude and would suit a range of riders from amateurs through to professionals.

With all the basics established Iwi is ready to start his competition career. He has a lovely temperament and is sane and easy going. He is good to handle, transport, shoe etc.

 

Sire:

Sire Non Plus Ultra III was a 1.60m show jumper who combines a great competition career and fantastic bloodlines. A son of Nimmerdor, out of a Carrado mare Non Plus Ultra competed successfully at Nations Cup level.

“He was international performer in Greece and Germany, but also winner in CSIO in 2006 under the saddle of Prince Faisal Al Shaalan. He combines a brillant career with a wonderful genetics. His first offsprings are very promising.”

Dam Lines:

Iwi’s dam, Ultimate Blue NZPH is by Mr Blue, a legacy in sport horse breeding. Mr Blue enjoyed an extremely successful jumping career being a winning Nations Cup and World Cup mount and was also selected for the Atlanta Olympic Games. However his real success began when he was purchased by GFE and began his stud career. His offspring have proven to be remarkable, producing a range of top level show jumper’s and Grand Prix winner; Plot Blue who carried Marcus Ehning to victory in the 2010 World Cup final in Geneva is perhaps the most successful. His breeding legacy is also being continued through his offspring, such as Zirocco Blue VDL who is following in his father’s footsteps as a world class show jumper and sire.

A basic examination of all 12 horses in the NZPH Auction was conducted by Vet Services Hawkes Bay on the 6th January, 2021.

All 12 horses passed a basic clinical examination and were in good general health. X-rays of the two & three year olds were taken, this included front feet, front fetlocks, hind fetlocks, and hocks, which are available on request.

When a request for x-rays has been received by Equus Auctions it will be passed on to Vet Services Hawkes Bay who will then send the x-rays directly onto the prospective bidders chosen veterinarian. This information is confidential and will only be sent to a qualified veterinarian for examination.

Please note this does not constitute a pre-purchase examination and New Zealand Performance Horses, Equus Auctions and Vet Services Hawkes Bay take no legal responsibility. If you wish to conduct a pre-purchase examination you are able to do so at your own expense from the 18th January 2021 – 14th February 2021. The sale of the horse is unconditional from the close of the online auction and pre-purchase examinations cannot be done retrospectively.
