2-Days Auditing (4th – 5th May) with Kelly Wilson & Hannah Catalino (USA) Wild Kaimanawa Workshop as they mentor 10-12 clients through the process of taming wild Kaimanawa horses at liberty, as part of the New Zealand leg of their Global Wild Horsemanship Adventures, valued at $600NZ. This will additionally include 2x lessons with the wild Kaimanawa Kelly will be taming, PLUS a signed copy of The Wild Kaimanawa Field Guide! NOTE accommodation is NOT included.
Our New Zealand base will be at Kelly Wilson’s purpose-built Wild Kaimanawa Sanctuary, which overlooks the Kaimanawa Ranges. Unlike other countries, the New Zealand wild horses are mustered just days before the workshop begins, so they’re some of the most authentic to learn from! Each day Hannah and Kelly will also be working horses, as well as mentoring clients, so you’ll be able to watch and learn as two of the world’s leading wild horse and liberty trainers apply their tried and tested methods, all with the aim of producing relaxed and confident horses who love their lives among humans. Since it’s autumn, we’ll also be visiting the Wairakei Terraces Thermal Hot Springs each week, so you can soak in the mineral water after a day taming horses.
