Proceeds from this auction will help support Equestrian Sport New Zealand to send teams and/or individuals to the FEI World Championships 2026 in Germany. In August, New Zealand’s very best in dressage, eventing and jumping will head to Aachen to compete against the world’s elite equestrian competitors and represent our country. An exceptional opportunity to secure a substantial stake in one of the finest Thoroughbred breeding lines available.

This 10% share in a two-year-old gelding by Woodedx Sociabeel (Savabeel), offers a meaningful ownership position in a horse carrying the bloodlines of two of New Zealand’s most celebrated sires. Donated by Simone Kann and Anna Stokes of Balmoral Stables, this is a genuinely rare offering at the top end of the market. The successful bidder will enjoy full raceday privileges, ownership communication, percentage share in winning stakes and the first 6 weeks of Pre-Training and associated feed costs included.

Simone and Anna of Balmoral Equestrian, who donated this auction item, will remain active members of the ownership group, retaining a 20% share and bringing their expertise and passion to the campaign. This is thoroughbred ownership with a warm welcome built in. ‘Woody’ will be trained by the highly regarded duo of Roger James and Robert Wellwood of Kingsclere Stables, who will also manage the ownership syndicate.

 

Conditions:
